Biography
About Virginie
Virginie Crettenand is a climbing teacher with a Swiss federal diploma, a Metodo Caruso® MAS II Grado climbing teacher and an independent social worker.
From river rocks in Italy to the Amône slab in Val Ferret, then the Calanques, Valais cliffs and La Turbie, climbing has been part of her path since childhood.
Trained as a climbing teacher in 2009, she also developed climbing dance and aerial rope work. Her HES-SO social work background supports a sensitive, inclusive and humanistic approach.
Thanks to Inès Fischli and Jean-Pierre Rieben, she discovered the Caruso Method® and Paolo Caruso in 2013. She became an instructor in 2015, then a second-level Italian-certified teacher in 2020.
